Greggy Bits Software is a limited liability company based in California.

 

Greggy Bits Software focuses on whatever Greggy finds to be the most fun on any given day. Right now that's producing useful and fun applications on Mac OS X and iOS for himself and others.

 

Greg Marriott is the managing member. Greg is the only member, to be honest. He wrote this description and was more than a little bit creeped out referring to himself in the third person. It is exhausting.

 

Greg has been creating software for about 35 years. He would tell you he's just about got it figured out. He has done a lot of interesting computery stuff during that time:

 

 •  He built an Apple II computer from parts and a schematic when he was 16.

 •  He created one of the first personal computer viruses on the Apple DOS 3.3 system.

 •  He worked at Apple for 5 years starting in 1988. He made testing tools, bug tracking systems, and system software.

 •  He spent some time at General Magic working on a system that a casual user of today would think was a prototype for an iPad. 20 years ago.

 •  He went back to Apple in 2001 for 5 more years and helped to create the iPod. Greg's mom proudly tells people, "My son invented the iPod." Who are you going to believe, Tony Fadell or Mom?

 •  Steve Jobs once told him, "You're fucking up the iPod!"

 

Greg has a wife named Nada, two Pomeranians named Pualani and Indy, and a home in Saratoga California.
